Faith is the most basic element of religion or religiosity. The history of theology shows that the entry of the first Muslim sects and sects in this debate was not based on theological motivations, but for the purpose of practical positions, that is, their basic concern revolved around the relationship between faith and action. The orientation to the origin of the world and the inner pull towards the truth on which the world rests, along with the desire for immortality and happiness, have been two sacred and lasting human concerns, The divine and monotheistic religions, which are well aware of the truth of man and his unique characteristics and existential spheres, introduce the only unique way to answer these two human needs as "faith". The concept of the truth of faith constitutes the most basic issue of a religion, so that all the basic theoretical and practical principles of every religion, including principles and branches, are based on faith and righteous action. In other words, the foundation of the worldview of every believer towards this world and the other world is based on this issue. In this sense, the importance of this matter is such that without considering it, understanding the truth of religion is impossible and impossible. Since the discussion of faith has many unknown angles, the authors of this study, using a descriptive-analytical method, aim to address the importance of faith in the Holy Qur'an and Shi'a theology and examine its relationship with righteous deeds, because faith has a special place in the Qur'an. It is, in such a way that the message of revelation has made it the center of all values and says: "By the age, without a doubt, man is at a great loss, except those who believed and did righteous deeds and advised each other to the truth and enjoined patience. یکی از مسائل بسیار مهم قرآن کریم و نیز ادیان آسمانی   مساله " ایمان " بوده که پیرامون آن پرسش های متعددی از همان قرون اولیه در بین مسلمانان شکل گرفته است. ایمان اساسی ترین عنصر تدین یا مقوم دینداری است . تاریخ علم کلام نشان می دهد  ورود اولین فرقه ها و نحله های مسلمان در این بحث در وهله نخست نه به انگیزه های کلامی بلکه به منظور موضع گیری های عملی بوده است یعنی دغدغه اساسی آنها حول محور نسبت ایمان و عمل می چرخید. گرایش به مبدأ جهان و کشش درونی به‌سوی حقیقتی که عالم بدان تکیه دارد، در کنار میل به جاودانگی و سعادت، دو دغدغه‌ی مقدس و دیرپای انسان بوده است. ادیان الهی و توحیدی که از حقیقت انسان و ویژگی منحصر به فرد و ساحت های وجودی او به‌خوبی آگاهی دارند، تنها راه منحصربه‌فرد، پاسخ به این دو نیاز انسان را «ایمان» معرفی می‌کنند. مفهوم حقیقت ایمان اساسی‌ترین موضوع یک دین را تشکیل می‌دهد، به‌طوری که تمامی اصول بنیادین نظری و عملی هر دینی، شامل اصول و فروع، برپایه ایمان و عمل صالح استوار است. به عبارت دیگر، شالوده جهان‌بینی هر فرد مؤمنی نسبت به این جهان و جهان دیگر برپایه این موضوع قرار دارد. بدین لحاظ اهمیت این امر چنان است که بی‌شک بدون درنظر گرفتن آن فهم حقیقت دین غیرممکن و ممتنع است. بنابر اینکه بحث ایمان زوایای ناشناخته‌ی بسیاری دارد، از اینرو نگارندگان با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی در این پژوهش برآنند تا به اهمیت ایمان در قرآن کریم و کلام شیعه پرداخته و رابطه آن را با عمل صالح مورد بررسی قرار دهند، زیرا  ایمان در قرآن جایگاه ویژه‌ای دارد، به‌گونه‌ای که پیام وحی، آن را محور همه‌ی ارزش‌ها ساخته است و می‌فرماید:  «قسم به عصر، بی تردید انسان در زیان کاری بزرگی است. مگر کسانی که ایمان آورده و کارهای شایسته انجام داده اند و یکدیگر را به حق توصیه نموده و به شکیبایی سفارش کرده اند». https://www.quraniimed.com/article_189938_3001bb57192b77b83f9a9cd4da497a38.pdf
