According to Allameh Tabataba'i, the definitive cure for mental illness is only possible through the Qur'an. It is God alone who can guide man, and God does it through the prophecy through the divine prophets. But a human who suffers from the world and replaces the world with the god due to this moral viciousness suffers from mental distress, because the dark desires darken the light of his heart and intellect. The way to the peace of God is to believe in the principles of resurrection and justice, to accept the obligations of faith. Secondly, the acceptance of practical instructions such as prayer and paying zakat reduces one's greed and brings him to true and lasting peace.
