Abstract
The current research under the title "Effects of moderation from the perspective of the Quran and hadiths" has tried to explain the consequences of moderation with the analytical-descriptive method and by referring to the Quran and hadiths. In Quranic and narrative teachings, moderation in belief and behavior is valued and excesses in affairs are condemned. The set of rules and customs of the Islamic religion is such that a balanced person is brought up; Also, one of the most basic intellectual rules and religious concepts in Islam, which has been emphasized a lot by Imams of Athar (AS), is adherence to moderation in all areas of human life. The necessity of discussion of moderation is revealed when, as evidenced by history, groups under different headings have had a significant impact on the mass of people in societies by going beyond the limit of moderation and tending to extremes or exaggerations. From this point of view, it is necessary to introduce its desirable effects to the audience so that people can turn to it with more motivation. The findings of the research show that moderation, from the perspective of the teachings of the Qur'an and
hadiths, has effects such as the following. Giving wisdom, staying away from polytheism, staying away from deviance and false tendencies, consistency of character, gaining piety, becoming beloved of God, not needing others, benefiting from God's mercy, a good end, health, economic improvement, freedom from destruction and education.
