Abstract
In many traditions and recommendations of Islam, the great importance of tolerance, tolerance, gentleness, forgiveness and anger in dealing with people and its psychological effects on the individual and social health of human beings have been emphasized. In fact, all the existing verses and narrations about God's pardon, forgiveness, forgiveness, and penitence, in a way, refer to God's tolerance and forbearance - that is, God's gentleness and ease, forgiveness and turning a blind eye - towards sinners and It means criminals. As the intercession of the afterlife, which is the greatest manifestation of God's forgiveness, speaks of this. About this issue, God says in verse 53 of Surah Zamar: "Say to my servants who have allowed extravagance and oppression on their souls, do not despair of God's mercy, indeed, God forgives all sins." Also, the verses and traditions related to God's double and increasing reward for the good deeds of the servants also indicate the same meaning. For example, it is mentioned in Surah An'am, verse 160: Whoever does a good deed, ten times will be meant for him, and if he does a bad deed, the same will be meant for him. Considering the importance of the issue of tolerance and the importance of being mentally determined in the face of certain issues, in the current research, which was written with a descriptive and analytical approach and using library sources, an attempt has been made to address this important issue, that is, tolerance and Its examples in Quranic and religious culture should be well explained. In order to achieve this goal, the literal and idiomatic meaning of tolerance is first mentioned with reference to the most reliable books, and then various examples of tolerance both in the Qur'an and in the thoughts of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS) have been stated and analyzed. . The most important achievements of this research is that both in the Holy Quran and in the biographies of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (PBUH), a social aspect of tolerance was given more attention, and this issue is considered as one of the main factors in maintaining favorable relations between people in the society and After that, the persistence and movement of society in the path of progress was introduced. Mentioning verses and hadiths relevant to this issue in the current research is a good confirmation of this.
