Abstract
Palliative care is applicable to all end-of-life patients, who do not respond to treatment, and its primary goal is to maintain quality of life. There are several issues with regard to end-of-life patients and their feelings of helplessness, and end-of-life care, pain relief, environmental management, moments of agony, death in calm, relief of patients’ companions etc. are not only recommended, but also considered even as a part of the patient's rights and the duties of the treatment staff. The aim of this study was to investigate the concept of palliative care of the end of life from the perspective of the Quran and Hadith. Conclusion: From the perspective of medical ethics, end-of-life patients and their companions have certain rights, and there are specific medical protocols and recommendations for this period of life of the patient and his or her relatives. There are also valuable and profound religious recommendations for managing this period of the patients’ life and their companions in all cultures, especially the Islamic religion and, basically, it should be emphasized that the medical staff's perception of the perceptions of patients and their companions about death and is a valuable help for medical staff to manage the moment and patients' reactions to bypass this turbulent stage. Of course, the basics and generalities of the above conclusions and concepts similar to these are commonly found in the beliefs of most cultures and human societies.
