Abstract
Anger is a spontaneous emotional reaction in dealing with a real or imaginary threat that creates an incentive to remove that threat, and it should not be thought that the emotion of anger is only harmful, because it plays a significant role in protecting people in times of danger. has it. But unseemly anger is one of the great dangers, and perhaps because of anger, he will be caught in eternal misery. The current research was done with the aim of explaining the emotion of anger and its management solutions in the approach of Quran and Hadith. Studies have shown that if negative anger is not controlled and rational and moral management is not done, it will lead to problems such as mental and behavioral disorders. In Islamic sources, there are many coping mechanisms including spiritual coping (the role of piety, remembrance of God, and special prayers...), cognitive coping (controlling judgments and evaluations, thinking about the future...), emotional coping (subduing anger, patience and tolerance, fear of divine punishment) and behavioral coping (silence, performing ablution, staying away from angry people...) were expressed. The research method is descriptive-analytical based on library sources and hadith and commentary sources.
