Abstract
The question of "Meaning of Life" is a philosophical concept that is related to different topics including ontological questions such as the creation of man, the purpose of man's creation, the origin of existence, and psychological issues such as anxiety, fear, depression, emptiness. The answer to the meaning of life has always been of interest from both a religious and a psychological perspective, and most of the heavenly religions, and Islam in particular, have introduced the meaning and concept of life as reaching "Divine Closeness".
Accordingly, the main purpose of this article is to examine the meaning of life from the perspective of Imam Sajjad (AS) and to examine his view on physical health, relying on the science of "Psychosomatics or Psychosomatic Disorder." So we can find traces of such a disorder, which has now been considered under the name of psychosomatics in psychology after several hundred years. This article has been examined in a comparative-analytical manner, relying on the foundations and principles of religion and psychology and in a library manner. The findings of the research show that the meaning of life is achieved by man's understanding of the system of creation and the universe. Imam Sajjad (AS) is among those who have addressed the meaning of human life and in his prayers has linked the meaning of life, physical health and ways to treat it, which is currently being studied in psychology as psychosomatic disorder or psychosomatic science.
