Abstract
Background and Objective: One way to overcome the fear of death is death therapy. Frankl mentions death as one of the components of death therapy in his method of semantic therapy. Death therapy means accepting a philosophy for death and trying to make appropriate use of life's opportunities and conditions. This method has been very inspiring and has changed people's attitudes towards death and reduced their anxiety about this phenomenon. This research aims to adapt Frankl's components of death therapy to the teachings of Islam.

Methodology: The present research is a descriptive-analytical method and a comparative approach. The verses of the Holy Quran, the narrations of the Ahlul Bayt (AS), interpretive sources, and Viktor Frankl's book are the sources used in this research.

Findings: By examining death therapy from Frankl's perspective and comparing it with Islamic teachings, it was found that Frankl has proposed components such as death and meaning, death and responsibility, death and awakening, and death and sacrifice in this concept.

Conclusion: There is an alignment between Frankl's death therapy components and Islamic teachings, with the difference that Islamic teachings in the component of death and meaning emphasize preparing humans for the journey to the afterlife, but there is no mention of it in Frankl's views. In the component of death and responsibility, Islamic teachings also refer to correcting actions and repentance, but according to Frankl's views, correcting actions is not possible, and in the component of death and awakening, Frankl mentions heedless people who are afraid of death, but Islamic teachings also mention believers who find death enjoyable.
